Celebrate St. Patrick's Day At the Palace Theatre by taking part in a fundraiser for Syracuse Contemporary Irish Film Festival!

Directed by Alex Fegan (The Irish Pub), OLDER THAN IRELAND is a landmark documentary that tells the story of a hundred years of a life as seen through the eyes of thirty Irish men and women aged 100 or over. Often funny and at times poignant, the film explores each centenarian’s journey, from their birth at the dawn of Irish independence to their life as a centenarian in modern day Ireland.

Tickets are available in advance for $10 at The Palace Commons Cafe (M-F 6:30am-3pm)located at 2384 James St, Syracuse, New York or online.  Tickets are $15 the day of at the door.

Share some cheer and enjoy some good craic (Irish for a good conversation) and learn a little more about Ireland and its connections to Syracuse. And everyone's favorite game of chance....raffle prizes!

Folklore: The Art of Irish Mythology & Tall Tales

September 13th & 14th @ Wildflowers. The Gallery at Wildflowers is pairing up with the Syracuse Contemporary Irish Film Festival with artwork dedicated to the rich mythology and folklore of Ireland. Curated by Jamie Santos. Explore the work of local artist as they bring to life beautiful myths and legends of heroes, ghosts, vampires, banshees and more!
A reception on Thursday and Friday will be held 5-6pm before the films start.
